If I Could Tell You...

If you could send your past self a letter giving them advice about the future, what would you write?

I have been thinking about this a lot lately.  There is bunches that I'd like to say to that girl. You are loved...you are strong...you will grow into a beautiful person...etc. But that is not really advice, is it? No, if I could give my past self  a message, it'd be this:

Dear Me,

Never Settle! Believe that you deserve the best...

...at home. They will still love you if you say no.
...at work. Give your best, get the best results. In order to get where you want to be, you'll have to fight for it.
...in love. Go with your gut. Some doubt is natural; too much doubt is bad.  But still keep yourself open to love.  Someday you'll find that guy that makes you feel happy and comfortable and safe.  Be patient.
...in life. Take chances. Strive to make yourself happy.  Be open to opportunities to grow.
